We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Taylard House. We had a very warm welcome by Sue the owner. She asked if we would like a hot drink on arrival, we thought that was nice. The bedroom was delightful, very clean & furnished superbly. The Bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was so good, cooked to order, which served by Sue's Husband. Shame we couldn;t stay another night.. We would stay again if we were in the area.

We booked this accommodation when we booked our F1 British Grand Prix tickets last year, based on existing reviews. The room exceeded our expectations! A lovely quiet village, an attractive inn with good food and the accommodation was literally steps away from the front door of the pub. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, we ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the food. We were asked about our preferences for breakfast and as we were visiting the Grand Prix, we were assured that breakfast would be served as early as we required it! We ordered full English breakfast which was delicious and were even served a lovely bowl of fresh fruit to start.
The room was pristine and benefited from a large en-suite bathroom with large fluffy towels. The bed was very comfortable with pristine bedding. Perfect! The bottled water provided was much appreciated.
We are so glad we chose this accommodation and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

"Stop using the chain hotels, this is a great place"
The location is down a long lane and is a converted farm house and stables. It is about 7 miles from central Milton Keynes. It is like a mini hotel rather than a house with bedroom. I only had a one night stay but I was greated by a very friendly but businness like owner. The room was very clean and comfortable with added touches of water, biscuits, hot chocolate provided. The breakfast is help yourself to cooked items or cereals etc. and was very nice. The eggs were lovely. There was plenty of plug space. A lovely patio area overlooking the countryside - great for a relaxing evening.

Stayed for two nights whilst visiting the area including Bletchley Park. Food and service were first class as was the accommodation. Wine was served beautifully chilled. There was no pressure to eat quickly and move out, table was ours for the evening. Would highly recommend for either a short break or celebrating a special occasion. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome.

Spent nine days here and enjoyed every minute. Immaculate room, bed made every day, fresh towels when needed, bar fridge re-stocked with milk, bottled water and biscuits every day. En-suite was clean and shower worked well. Bed was very comfortable and despite being over the pub bar wasn't disturbed by noise.
Breakfasts were generous in size and delicious and restaurant provided me with several excellent evening meals.
