Better off stsying at Super 8 or casino in Emmetsburg. Cleaner and cheaper than thos Super 8. Nice staff and cheap rates but you get what you pay for.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.
Rooms were disgusting, no batteries in the smoke detectors, showers sprayed water out of the wall, shower heard were full of calcium and lime build up, rear door had no security it was just unlocked the whole time, air conditioner didn’t work. We had to buy air fresheners to hang in the room, microwave was dirty. It was awful.

Ad states full breakfast and laundry facilities. Neither of these exist. There was not even coffee available. I stayed here for a week and the room never got cleaned. Had to go ask for clean towels and the trash never got emptied.

I was very displeased with this place. It was clean but no peace of mind. You could hear everything above you with other giests thru floors. The train track was right next to wimdow so it was very loud. Guest services woke us up way earlier than check out and i got off work at 6 am from a nursimg shift.

Dirty, sticky, stinky, dingy, musty most of the lights do not work, no shampoo or conditioner and room was in a basement with other room doors propped open as I walked the hallway, bucket in the hallway. The oustside also looks rundown. The kind of place that you want to take a shower after just walking in. The front desk woman had the charm of a wet mop. I came back and got my stuff as fast as I could because it is so creepy, I was afraid a murderer was going to jump out of the dark corners and slash me! Rented at real motel. Just plain gross and creepy and dark, needs to be shut down. REFUND my money.

THIS PLACE IS SO OLD AND WORN DOWN-- FANS IN THE HALL WAYS TO HELP WITH MILDEW SMELL AND DAMP CARPET; THE SHOWER WAS A HOSE HOOKED TO THE BATH FAUCET AND HUNG UP ON THE WALL- AND ALL RUSTY--; VERY HOT IN THERE,ICE MACHINE DIDN'T WORK; NO INK IN THEIR PRINTER, AND OLD OLD BED LINENS, Gross- I left a day early

It is very dated, extremely dirty and smell awful. The refrigerator didn't work and air conditioner was not cooling. Wifi was extremely slow and if you had a laptop, your connection was terrible. If you're going to the area do not be cheap. It is not worth it.

Smelled badly. A couple packs of white donuts was put out late. Coffee was cold. Had to call to get anyone for the front desk. It is not manned. Ice machine did not work. Floor was dirty

I didn't mind that when I arrived the staff had already left due to a pending storm. The key had been left in a hiding place in the lobby, and it all worked. However the room had not been cleaned and the beds had been slept in. Luckily I had a sleeping bag with me.

The mattress was like sleeping on a box-spring. The room smelt like a whole carton of cigarettes was smoked in it by the previous user. Which made it difficult to get a good nights rest.

The first room had no electric and a purse on the bed, next room was filthy food splatter in and on microwave, so much dust I could write on it and the 3rd room that the maid and manager cleaned was very dusty

This hotel has not had any updates since the 1970s. Both bedspreads had rips and stains on them. There were no tissues in the room and the only toilet paper in the bathroom was half a roll. We never saw any staff and only communicated by phone. The beds are awful and have a dent in the middle of the mattress. Definitely would not recommend.

Nobody at front desk at 8pm for check-in. Had to call a number to check in. Person said computers are down and no hot water. Adked if I still wanted to stay there. Since Expedia had already charged my credit card I said yes. She said it would take her 10 minutes to get to the desk. It did. Property in general in poor shape. Ceiling falling down in bathroom from leak in room above. No breakfast or even coffee at 6am. Again nobody at front desk. I wont stay here again

I stayed here because it was the cheapest option in town. I don't think I'd stay there again if avoidable though. The room, and entire facility was not very clean. The room looked like it hadn't had a proper cleaning in quite a while. Carpets stained, etc. The most frustrating thing however was the internet. It basically didn't work at all after about 7pm..... Which was a real problem for me. My work requires me to upload 20-30GB of data overnight collected during the day. On to of not being able to get much of anything uploaded, I couldn't even stream any entertainment to distract me from the depressing state of the room.....

The staff of two work very hard and are very nice. They do their best clearly. The building is run down, the furniture in room was broken, the tub stained, the walls stained, the sheets rough, the ice machine broken, the driveway not maintained, etc etc. It was place to sleep and that's about it.

Short staffed
Literally 1 employee for the whole property. Same lady was front desk and housekeeping. When she was gone no one was there at all. Had to wait over an hour to check in. Dirty underwear left in bathroom. Ran out of toilet paper and no one to help. No breakfast at all that was promised at booking.

The best part about this room is we could invite the band back and let them trash it and no one would know. Also the back security door is still broken it actually is missing the part to lock it.

The bathroom was filthy. The tub had scum film all over the tub and shower. The faucets were dirty and water spotted. The shower curtain was dirty and spotted. The sink faucets were also dirty and water spotted. All flat surfaces in the room were covered in dust. This is an economy hotel and I don't expect everything to be perfect, but this was one of the dirtiest rooms I have ever stayed in.

In a seedy part of town. Storage facility right outside our window who's light shined in our window all night long. Dirty Super 8. Was trying to save money on our trip but this was not worth it. Disgusting condition! Will never stay in a Super 8 again!
