"Decent hotel as long as you don't want the beach n"
A good hotel, if a little tired now and perhaps in need of a refurb. However the staff are brilliant and the breakfast (we only did b& b) was absolutely excellent.
The position of the hotel, whilst close to the sea is kind of in the middle of nowhere but a short bus ride (every 15 minutes and only €1.60 to anywhere!) in either direction will take you to Alcudia old town or Puerto Pollenca. The latter has the beaches and plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Alcudia old town is walled and a charming place to eat.
We didn't mind the location as we were cycling - it's perfect for that and there is a good bike rental shop in the grounds, supplying quality racing bikes. Other bikes are also available on site.
In short - if you want to go to the beach every day, it might not be ideal but everything else was excellent.
Hotel pictures look exactly like the hotel. Nice and modern. Great food and selection for breakfast buffet. Amazing spa facilities. Booked a full aroma body massage. Will definitely come back to the hotel again.

Good hotel. Very nice room with sea view and excellent breakfasts. They put on breakfast at 05:00 on race day which was a very big tick in the box. It was about a mile walk along the seafront to the main event location on the beach and less than a kilometre up the road to Transition.

Great hotel, very helpful and polite staff.
Make sure you book the room with a sea view, totally worth it. The view from the balcony overlooking the ocean cannot be any better.
Location is perfect, right on a white sand beach.
Staff are very polite and very friendly.
You can book excursions, rent bicycles, book for watersport activities in the hotel.
Public buses stop right next to the hotel which can take you anywhere in the island.
Vegetarian options in dinner is very limited. But that wouldn't be a problem for most.
Will surely book our stay here next year.

Had a great time at this hotel and recommend it. Hotel, facilities, food and beach access were great. Grounds are extensive, so you can always find a nice spot. No towels on sunbeds and three pools across the complex to choose from. Guests are mainly from Germany, so British visitors are in the minority. Friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices and good entertainment. We also found a great "chill out" beach bar just 5 minutes walk up the beach.
The hotel is beautifully situated by the beach. The food is buffet based but all fresh, meat and fished cooked on the griddle. The range of food is excellent too; fresh fruit, pasta, salads and special dishes. There are two pool areas and and indoor pool and gyms. The in-house cycle hire has 100's in stock with a package for drinks and a snack for the ride. There are also organised rides of different levels if you wish. The staff are polite and efficient. There are not many Brits who stay there, the majority of customers being German or Swiss but it creates a good atmosphere and ensure good service! I rated the room comfort low as we had some significant noise from the aircon blowers.

"The hotel is excellent, right on the sandy beach."
Sea view room is spacious with every comfort possible. Plenty of sunbirds around pool, beach has sun umbrellas and sungbeds. Wifi is free and covers pool and beach area. Excellent food and always helpful staff. Thumb definitely up
The original walled Old Town of Alcúdia is well worth a visit for its reconstructed medieval streets and Roman remains. By contrast the resort area is thoroughly modern with high-rise hotels and tourist shops around the bay. The beach is one of Mallorca’s biggest (15 kilometres) and best, with various water sports on offer. To escape the crowds visit the adjacent S’Albufera nature reserve.
