"Great hotel in Brooklyn "
Cleanest hotel I've stayed at in a long time, friendly, helpful staff. They are opening a cafe/bar in a few weeks. Our room was a loft with a small private patio, great decor. Ten minute walk to subway, either G or 7 line. A few small restaurants and many small delis in area. Would definitely stay there again.

"Clean hotel near downtown Brooklyn"
Hotel was very clean. Breakfast each morning was quite sufficient for us. We were visiting family and this was very convenient. Be aware that a $50 per day charge covers incidentals, if you have any. It should be reversed when you check out if you didn't use the Mini-bar, or more accurately, the maxi-bar. There was a bit of confusion when we checked out. We had booked thru Expedia and pre-paid. The clerk could not find the record of pre-paying and wanted to charge my credit card. After about 15 minutes, she was able to find the pre-pay record. I would stay here again.

"Over and above the norm"
The staff quickly responded to all inquiries; assisted with our bike delivery and return shipping; stored our excess luggage and bike boxes while we were gone; found dry cleaning with a one day turn around; had great continental breakfast; and assisted us with tourist information. The rooms were very clean and modern. Also, they up graded us without us asking.

"What can I say we had an amazing trip and exceptio"
The staff: The staff were were all very outgoing, friendly, well mannered and professional. Maybe the best we've encountered in all our travels. The hotel: Our room was fairly large by NYC standards with great decor and finishes. A pleasure for the eyes and very comfortable to stay in. By most peoples standards it would be considered very clean but I did notice some dust in our rooms and you can tell it wasn't vacuumed daily but hey I'm sure you don't dust or vacuum your home daily either. The location: It's location is very good. Nice walking distance to great restaurants on Atlantic, Fulton and Smith. Also plenty of discount shopping right around the corner. It's also conveniently located to plenty of subway stations making it easy to get to Manhattan, the airport or just about anywhere. The one thing you should know is that there is a lot of construction in the area (as in all of NYC). If you want peace and quiet this is not the place for you and neither is NYC. It's the city that never sleeps remember?

We loved the pool and exercise room. The hotel is beginning to show some wear and tear, but seemed clean, and we were very comfortable there.

"Newest building on the block "
Tried checking in early, no rooms available but the lady at the front desk was super nice. Was able to get a parking tag and went for a walk along 5th ave. Came back 1.5 hours later (still early) and was able to check in. Room was small & needed a new ironing board cover but it was clean. Breakfast was good. A lot of variety and not overcrowded. You can easily bring your food back to your room. Elevator was a bit wait and many people on at once. Might be better to take the stairs if your not on a high floor or have many bags. I would stay again and also recommend to friends. Overall stay was very good.
