"Access to our room was easy. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is good and near restaurants and the public pier. There is a lanai with tables and chairs for dining and a view of a small horse ranch bordered by the ocean. "

"Beautiful hotel with lots of gorgeous landscaping, including a koi pond, and artwork to enjoy while walking along the hallways or pausing to rest at one of the many comfy outdoor seating areas. The large pool was awesome. There were 5 hot tubs, so you didn’t have to wait too long before one became available if you just wanted to hang out in one with your own group. We were in a pool-view room, but there was also a view of the ocean off to our left that only got better if you went out onto the balcony. The nearby beach was also beautiful and relatively calm due to it being a bit more protected by what seems to be a natural harbor. We appreciated the nearby dining options on days when we didn’t want to hunt around for something in town or just got cleaned up from a day hike and didn’t feel like going out in the car again. Sometimes the front desk seemed like it could have been better staffed (especially if you were there after pool house hours and needed to get pool towels) but staff was always courteous and apologized for the wait if there was one. I would definitely consider staying at the Royal Sonesta again. "
