Stayed here for our honeymoon and can literally say it was the best! The other location we thought about was hotel #1. I would say this location was perfect probably the pretty resort on the island in our opinion. It was huge right on the beach and in the perfect location to travel to all sides of the island for fun. The pool and resort amenities, restaurants were amazing. Everything was clean and well maintained. There were a lot of people there but did not feel over crowded at all. Very quiet and relaxing! Great stay.

The facility is very well maintained and the staff was very nice. We loved that they had free laundry units available to all guests and provided detergent. There were water stations throughout the facility. The gym was also very clean and new. Our family loved that the pools were open 24 hours. We would definitely come back again.

The Grand Hyatt Kauai is an excellent pick for this island. It is a beautiful hotel right by the beach and has several great pools, a lazy river, a waterslide and a saltwater lagoon. The hotel staff was very friendly. The spa was beautiful as well. The hotel may get crowded when the schools are on holidays because the hotel is kid-friendly but the week we were there, it was not too crowded nor too isolated. Just right. My favorite part of the hotel was the Seaview Terrace which is a café/restaurant with a beautiful ocean view and both indoor and outdoor seating. They had live music and a singer almost every night during dinner time. It was very enjoyable and a great experience.

Beautiful resort. Very accommodating for late flights. Had access to the pool all day after checking out. The departure lounge is great and allows you to get ready before heading to the airport.

Location was great. Just too big of a property with too many guests. It was a 10 minute walk from our room to the lobby, restaurants and pool. Doing that several times a day gets old. If you are not down by the pool/beach by 9am you were out of luck finding a place to sit or try to get in some shade. Rooms were damp and AC would turn off when you left room. Always coming back to a warm room that took time to cool down. Grounds were beautiful and staff were nice. Would not stay there again.

The grounds are meticulously maintained and gorgeous. The ocean view from the terrace is beautiful. We would definitely come back.
