The grounds of the property extends to face the water and at sunset, you can walk out and witness the magnificence. You can walk to Poipu beach from there and then your relaxation begins.
It is also within walking/ short drive distance to Poipu restaurants, mall and all that Poipu has to offer!
The decor and facility may be a bit dated but it is very well maintained and cleaned. The folks who work there are friendly and courteous.

"Koloa Landing was wonderful. The grounds offered a tropical paradise setting, and the pool was the best I have ever scene, both in the layout as well as the size. In addition, the back lawn overlooked the ocean to help set the best setting. I highly recommend this place to anyone."
"This was our first family trip with our adult children. We could not have asked for a more perfect home for us!! There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. The home was spotless and well equipped, and so comfortable to hang out together! The views were spectacular as we watched the gorgeous sunrise and sunsets. We enjoyed sea turtles and the snorkeling on the beach was amazing. It was the vacation of a lifetime. Our host was very responsive and the entire stay was so easy. We are definitely going to be back to this beautiful, magical place"

"Of the houses and hotels that we stayed at while on an extended trip to multiple islands, this was my favorite and it it is all due to the amazing porch. I could spend every day of my life on this lanai! The sound of the crashing waves, watching turtles and surfers every day while sipping coffee in the provided bathrobe, just perfection! The location was great for easy drives to beaches, restaurants, shopping, etc but, honestly, it was hard to leave. "
