Loved staying here. Was glad we didn't opt for larger hotels with overwhelming numbers of guests. Attention from staff was friendly and really appreciated the direction cards to help us with our driving in an unfamiliar location, especially as we usually drive on the other side of the road. Poolside was peaceful and very relaxing.

We had a great time there. Checking in was easy, the facilities were great and checking out was also easy. Self parking meant a bit of a walk to the car, but that was not an issue. We’re also very close to the coconut marketplace, so shops and dining were easy. At Kauai Shores itself, the lava lava lounge was excellent.

We had an ocean-view room but I spent the first 10 min photographing the gorgeous decor! Fabulous view from the room. Fabulous pools. Loved the Lava mocktails. Came face to face with lots of turtles in the water at the little beach. Just blissful. Some of the staff were a bit cringey and the food wasn't fantastic (but that may just be me not having the American palate). I got a splinter in my foot and one of the room-cleaning staff swiftly found me a sewing kit so we could use the needle....

Really enjoyed the facilities here and the location.
Kaui'i is a fabulous place. And the resort is great - but better for adults to opt for the normal room rather than the studio with murphy.
All the restaurants we tried in the resort, in Anchor Cove and in Harbor Mall were great!
I probably should have googled what a "murphy bed" was - so that's mostly on me. I just saw pillowtop and assumed it was a full bed.
BUT I have slept on many sofa beds and fold outs, and still the bed was not...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Westin Villas Princeville from 3rd-6th January. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool area is great fun and the breakfast was delicious too. Less than 10 minutes drive to Hanalei Bay, which we loved.
