Everytime I travel to Wellington, its my first-choice hostel. Warm welcome and kind staff, cleanliness, everything is fine and the price is reasonable.
This was one of the nicer hostels I've stayed in! Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and nice with free coffee, tea, hot chocolate. There were several lounge areas and I especially liked the rooftop deck. Also, great location, just around the corner from Cuba St.
One of the best hostels Ive stayed at. Great decor and vibe. Lots of lounge space. Free bike rental which I used to ride to Weta Workshop. Met some cool people while hanging out there.
Excellent place for the clean kitchen, many spare for the clothing kitchen to use, never saw in other place, nice cutlery, and near streets on downtown .
I had an extremely late check in due to travel, and a very early check out, and Belu made sure I got in without trouble. The facilities were great, the bed was really comfortable and the facilities are excellent.
Great modern hostel right next to where we needed to be.
Lovely staff, nice facilities and a big comfy bed.
We were a little worried about noise on a Saturday night on Halloween weekend but it was not an issue at all.
Will definitely stay again
dorm rooms were very well designed with attention to privacy (curtains for each bed), sills on the side with a usb charging port). Staff were very attentive.
Decor was functional, but perhaps a bit spartan.
The Marion is probably the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff are friendly and helpful and the building was beautiful and kept very clean. The location is great and the beds are comfortable. I would recommend this place for short and long term stays to anyone.
Stay was fantastic, great kitchen to work with with everything you need and the beds were really comfy. Don't feel a thing when someone climbs up a bunk and the privacy curtains were a great touch. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, highly recommend.
It was really good with lovely staff and very comfortable amenities. Every bed gets its own power plug to recharge and privacy curtains. I would say though that there is not a lot of space and if it were to happen that everybody in a dorm had those large solid suitcases there ould be an issue. Otherwise, totally recommend.
The best hostel among all hostel I had stayed in New Zealand, Australia, Europe combined. Beds are fixed to the wall so no squawking noise when going up or down the ladder from upstair bed. Curtains next to bed helped make it a little more private even with 5 other girls I stayed with. Shower was roomy and had very convenient/comfortable setting. Staff was very helpful and friendly (night and morning staff). Location was very nice with lots of restaurants to choose from and close to water front. This place deserves 10 out of 10.

Most of the time quiet hostel, good location and clean
- Not enough seats in the kitchen area, housekeeping staff would enter the room without knocking, not the most social or welcoming hostel
