"I booked this through my hotels.com app and booked the zing twin as the queen wasn’t available. I am a gold member with them that gives me free upgrades, yet when I checked in they offered me an upgrade of the room for an extra $15 per night. Which I did not take up the offer. The room itself is basic but nice. The single bed itself was a tad weird. Every time you climbed onto the bed, the whole mattress would move off the base it was on, and be half hanging off, which was a little bit annoying. I remember last time I was there the pool was cold and it’s still cold. Which is a shame. They do have lollies at reception which is great for those who eat lollies. The location itself is great with lots of cafes around."

"Clean room and bathrooms, entire space smells clean but low allergen/no smell of commercial cleaning products- ideal for me. I was next to a very squeaky door to a dorm which for some reason the staff couldn’t seem to address, so I oiled it myself and fixed it. I’d definitely recommend this place for good accommodation. "

"Central to everything in the city. Friendly and clean place. Had some big tears in our carpet though, but the rest of the room and bathroom was clean and modern. Some road noise at night."

"Extremely average given the price point. The carpet in my room was lifting up, curtains ripped, bathroom dated and clunky. Antiquated TV system from the early 2000’s. The hotel needs a full refurbishment to be brought back to its former glory! Wouldn’t recommend at this stage."
