"Nice little Hilton in downtown St. Pete walking distance to lots of downtown locations. It has everything you need in a full service hotel, pool, hotel bar, breakfast cafe, coffee shop. Room was clean, plenty of hot water, AC quiet. No complaints. Have stayed here several times before and will likely stay there again. Great bang for your hotel buck."

Sirata St. Pete Beach Resort, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

"We have stayed the Sirata many times before the new remodel into a Hilton Tapestry Collection member. The best way to put it is: They are going to be great - but are not there yet. The photos being posted are gorgeous & photoshopped. Still a lot of construction happening at all hours. Hard to relax & hear the beach waves with beeping dumptrucks and metal cutting saws going all day, & clouds of dust around the pool. There also appears to be a staff shortage resulting in rooms not being serviced regularly - running out of toilet paper is not great! One of the rooms in our group didn't have a functioning door - they came and cut the door latch out to make it able to close. It also didn't have a room number on it. The bathrooms in the standard rooms are so small you have to stand in the shower to be able to close the bathroom door! The restaurant, Rum Runners, is VERY slow! There is no kitchen in the building so when you do finally get your food it is cold, and having been transported in plastic warming covers, the food is soggy. Entrees don't come out together so your group doesn't actually eat together. Which you wouldn't care if the drinks were flowing but bar service is also slow. You can see the hotel upgrades appearing but they are not there yet! And for the price we paid it should have been better! On the positive, I stayed in a King Suite which was enormous & had a beautiful view - totally worth the extra cost! St Pete Beach is gorgeous & clean. Sunsets are to die for!"

"This place was exactly what I was looking for. Central to everything, extremely walkable. My only complaint is that having to move my car around did get kind of old. Valet parking is exorbitant at $40 a day. Luckily downtown has tons of free parking options right around the hotel, so if you time it right you can park easily for free overnight. It’s very central to a lot of nightlife, so expect to hear some noise at night. Surprisingly things calmed down even on weekends around midnight."
