"This property was disgustung! The room had not been cleaned - still crumbs in the table in the room, soap in the bathroom sink from previous guest and the fridge had not been cleaned. A half drank 5th of alcohol with squeezed lemons in the freezer and dirty glass still on the kitchen area sink. After we removed our bags from the room to leave the property,the manager then offered to sweep and ‘pick up ‘ the room. He had already said that he likes that’s particular room and hangs out in it when it’s empty ! It was by far the WORST experience ever traveling."

"Do NOT stay here. You will be lied to REPEATEDLY. I reserved and paid for a marina view room with a kitchenette and balcony. Due to a prior issue with this same property (mind you I’ve NEVER had an issue like this with booking through a third party other than this property and we are frequent travelers). I took the extra step of contacting the hotel directly two days prior to arrival to confirm my reservation details. During multiple conversations with the front desk representative, Karla, I was explicitly informed that despite my confirmed Expedia reservation, I was only assigned a standard room because the booking was made through a third-party platform. I was then advised that I would be required to pay an additional $56.60 per night to receive the room type I had already reserved and reasonably expected. Under significant time pressure (less than 48 hours before travel), and after more than six hours spent attempting to resolve this matter with Expedia, as well as multiple calls with both Karla and General Manager Keaton, I finally agreed to pay the additional charge. On the day of arrival, during a layover, I again contacted the hotel and received direct confirmation from Karla that the upgraded room would be ready upon check-in. We arrived and it was a standard room. Very misleading and inaccurate with truthful communication to get you onsite and have no other options. Expedia did nothing to assist. Side note: Gina was amazing and truly cares about customers!!!!!"

"Let me start off by saying that Clearwater is one of my favorite places on earth!! So just being here makes me happy, but Devon Shores really makes the experience better! It's so close to the beach and all of the restaurants and shops that once I get to the hotel, I leave my car there. Oh yea, they have tons of parking spots which is hard to come by on the island. I love how modern and clean and open the rooms are. The staff is always so nice and accommodating. I have nothing but nice things to say. I'm actually going to book my next trip there (I try to go every 6 months)."
