"Our room was clean and comfy. The pool setting is great for morning sun until 2 pm. It was good also when beach was too breezy. Coffee and drinks available in office. Deb is the owner, very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for all around beach vacation. Parking was never a problem. "

"We could not have had a better experience staying at Gregg's "beachhaus"! The place was exactly as advertised - clean, comfy, 5-min walk to the beach (if that). Everything needed for a beach vacation was available: towels, chairs, umbrellas, toys for the kids, and a wagon to haul it all. Gregg was super responsive to our questions and made sure we had everything we needed for a great week at the beach. The bar across the street, Mahuffer's, has live music and was a great way to wind down for the night. You're steps away from some great restaurants and a short drive to even more places to eat, breweries, mini golf, and more. We already can't wait to go back next spring break! "We loved our stay at Island House hotel! They had everything we needed and more. It’s a very lowkey friendly atmosphere, with some longer term guests and others just passing through as we were. It was well stocked and had great amenities, close to the beach and fun/family friendly. Very kind staff and helpful! One thing that could be a bit bothersome is guests are permitted to smoke outside of rooms and around the pool and we did find a regular presence of smoke in the air (not in the room at all, that was very clean and smoke free!) which we didn’t love to have our kids around. "
