"This was our third or fourth time in Cabarete and our second time staying at the Presidential suites. The first time we stayed ( about 3 weeks ago) it was for only 1 night but this time we decided to stay for 5 nights. Minus a few of our children getting sick (no fault of the resort) we really enjoyed our time. "In general the staff was friendly but poorly trained and had very limited communication skills. Suite was very modern but not practical. (Only mirrors in bathroom. Bathroom lights so poor hard to shave. Electricity failures common, water would cease running without warning. Particularly bothersome in the shower. Air conditioning so loud when on that it couldn't be used while sleeping. Beach had fancy beds rather than lounges, but no where near enough to handle the crowd. Guest joke, "ask...
