Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant diversity was nice. Access to the beach was amazing and the activities offered were plentiful. Entertainment each day differed and kept things fresh.
The staff was very friendly especially Kendry who was in the buffet restaurant. The only thing was that there was no hot water after a certain time of the day to shower with other then that really enjoyed my stay.
We had a great stay at Viva Heavens! We were offered an upgraded room and it was wonderful! The air conditioning worked very well in our room and it was not damp at all. All of the staff were very nice and we would definitely stay here again!
The staff was really nice everyone was super kind. They cleaned the rooms everyday multiple times a day. Resort is beautiful. The only thing is the taxi drivers and the resort security chase off uber drivers because they want you to use the taxi services partnered with them but Ubers are half the price. The resort is family friendly overall I thoroughly enjoyed my trip and was sad to leave.
Everything is good except the entertainment if you’re looking for a place to just relax it’s perfect but for fun and to stay entertained this is not the place staff can be very boring
We had no problems in this resort. I loved the walkway to the beach was so tropical and you along a lagoon I think? They had animals like turtles and birds. The resort pool was close since they wet just doing maintenance but we were more there for the beach. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach. The food was good. They had a cute cafe and couple restaurants. The staff was soo welcoming and so nice. Love the energy. I gave it 4 stars because the bathroom had some mold on the walls and some corners, nothing very concerning but when you are in vacation you want a clean bathroom. The sofa could of used some deep cleaning too. But I would come back to this resort.
The resort was beautiful. unfortunately my visit was during the off-season pool repair, and other maintenance being completed. The hotel was able to move most of the pool activities to other parts of the resort such as dances, games and other. The staff was amazing, very friendly and quick to assist when needed. A travel friend was having issues with her Air Conditioning and maintenance was at her room within minutes to repair. The food was amazing, and the à la carte dinners were above expectations. The Blend was my favorite. The coffee shop was amazing as well, the worker named Sara could make your perfect cup of coffee and remember it for each time you stop in. The Ice coffee was unbelievably good! The Animation was full of energy, charisma and always smiling. They had a way to get you out of your comfort level and to try new things.
lack of elevators was the only downside to the resort if you have walking issues, otherwise food was excellent, and so were the staff. Entertainment fantastic, so much better than at Punta Cana. Will certainly revisit. Desk manager Sofia extremely accomodating, housekeeper Mercedes wonderful.
It was clean, hot water, food was good….and I doubled up on the Tequila shots. Service was also good I tipped the bartender when I checked out…for the price I was satisfied
The room was amazing. We got upgraded to a member suite, and it was a big, clean room. The only thing is that the hotel doesn't have an elevator, and we were on the 3rd floor. But the staff are very friendly and helpful. The animation group is so good; they are enthusiastic and very enjoyable. The bar staff are very gentle and friendly; they love taking care of guests. We enjoyed the nightclub a lot; the bartenders there are so friendly, and we interacted with them. I remember Kendry and another who had a birthday, but in general, our stay there was incredible. The coffee place on the corner of the pool has the best coffee. The girl there made us a beautiful espresso with some milk and she always made us a figure ❤️. Good job to them. All staff were very nice and friendly. The buffet food is not great, but still good some days. We loved the Dominican night a lot, so enjoyable. That night the food was great!!!
Very quite place to relax and lay back from the city craziness. For the deal we got it was an amazing experience. We are going back for sure. The food was really good too, variety and well done. Honestly, nothing to complaint about it. I recommend it. This was my first experience in an all inclusive resort, and I am glad I did it. Very satisfied.

It wasn't a good stay. I made my reservation several months in advance, and when I arrived I was surprised to find the pool "disabled for renovation." To me it was disrespectful that I wasn't notified about this beforehand, nor did I receive any compensation, especially since it's the "only" pool — there was nowhere to cool off. On top of that, the resort doesn't have any air-conditioned areas (sports bar, entertainment) to spend time in otherwise... just the beach.
The most comfortable area was the lobby, but even there you couldn't enjoy so much as a drink, since it has no bar and the bars are very far from there.
As for drinks, if you go with the regular package it's the worst — you have to pay for an upgrade or be a member to enjoy anything decent to drink.
For me it was a total letdown.
Not everything was bad — at least the facilities are well maintained and cleanliness is good, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and the A/C works well despite it being an old resort. The buffet food isn't varied, but at least everything there is good.
The specialty restaurants for dinner are excellent; however, the buffet restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner is not the best, although you can find something good to eat (not a lot of variety.
We loved our stay! The rooms were clean and the housekeeping was fantastic! The buffet was good and the alacarte restaurants were also good. Make sure you set up your reservations early. We appreciated the smaller resort size and the very personable staff. Will definitely stay again!
Overall, my experience at the hotel was mixed. At the moment, the main pool is not available, and there is only a small pool for children, which was disappointing. The food would be a 7/10, as it was cold most of the time.
The hotel facilities are not very well laid out. For example, when you arrive at the hotel, the first bar is quite far away, and you have to walk all the way around the pool to access it. The heat is also very noticeable throughout the property. Even the restaurants and buffet area do not have adequate air conditioning, which can make meals uncomfortable. On the positive side, the rooms are a 10/10. They are very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The rest of the hotel facilities were also clean and well maintained. The "all-inclusive" drinks are not exactly as expected. There are different packages, including premium options. The premium package includes higher-quality drinks, while guests who are not premium are offered more basic options. If you want something from the premium selection, it will be charged to your room. The staff, however, was excellent. Everyone was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Overall, the hotel has comfortable and clean rooms and a very friendly staff, but there are several areas that could be improved, especially the pool situation, air conditioning, food temperature, and the way the all-inclusive packages are structured
