"The staff was amazing! The receptionists, cleaning crew, restaurant workers, etc., were all kind and helpful. Also, the location, right near the ocean, was awesome. If you enjoy being right next to the ocean, this is the place. Lastly, for being all-inclusive, I thought the food was pretty decent, not great, but decent. On the other hand, my room was definitely dated. The shower barely had any water pressure, and the mattress was very uncomfortable when sleeping on my back or side. My preferred positions. For reference, I am 6’1 and 180 lbs. Lastly, visitors are not allowed to see you at this hotel. Knowing the area a little, I believe that this a good rule. However, keep that in mind if you wish to see family or friends in the area. "

"My stay at the Ocean Front Luxurious Penthouse was excellent!!! Much more elegant than the photos. Very clean and all amenities onsite was impeccable as described. The ocean view was amazing from the living room and balcony. Special thanks to Jerome and Alvaro for your hospitality, communication and quick responses to questions. The location was the best in Sosua, walking distance to downtown, minutes away from restaurants and all entertainment. Will definitely be reaching out to you and your team for future stays. "I was fooled by the 9.2 review and chose this place, even though it is very old and dirty, and we spent about two nights in the heat with two kids due to a broken cooling system. The internet was very weak and limited, and it would frequently disconnect, causing me to miss my online meetings. More than 90% of the meals were the same every day during our week-long stay. There were no special activities except for one pool table for the entire resort. More than 90% of the staff were very kind, nice, respectful and welcoming. Our suite was changed three times, the first because of water coming from the ceiling, the second because of the cooling system and broken beds, etc. For those who are sensitive to cleanliness and very old building, who follow a variety of foods, and who don't want to get bored after a few days, I don't recommend it at all."

"When we arrived, they gave us the wrong Broom. We paid for the penthouse, suite and got a two bedroom suite. That was not a penthouse. We were so tired. We don’t tried to deal with it the next day. Also, there was no water in the suite, the oven did not work, they were not enough towels, and the bedsheets in the second bedroom smelt like they were left in the washing machine too long. The next day, I asked for compensation or to be paid back the difference from the Penthouse suite which I booked, and the two bedroom sweet, which we were placed in. The manager said that he would directly put back the 30 USD difference on my visa. That was almost 2 weeks ago and I have received nothing back. Also, as we were driving away, they messaged me and asked us if we had taken beach towels out of the suite that we’re missing. Of course we didn’t even use beach towels, or pool towels because we arrived at 630 P.M. exhausted after a 15 hour flight. I’m really disappointed that the manager, who have spoken to three times now still has not refunded me or made any effort to compensate me for our troubles, and overpayment as I say, it was obvious at the suite was not ready to receive us. And that they did not have the Penthouse, which I paid for ready or available. I would like the return of the 30 USD on my credit card immediately."
