A slight bit of a hike (10 to 15 minutes) to where most of the restaurants and grocery stores, kite/wing schools/rentals are, but I appreciate the quietness and security the place has to offer. "We had a great stay here. We stayed 1 night, and were impressed with the service as well as the cleanliness and calmness of the room. It's definitely worth upgrading to the select side. You have extra pools that are quiet, a separate area in the buffet restaurant to eat, as well as the use of a coffee shop. The food was decent. We stayed in September and only 1 a la carte restaurant (the Mexican) was open but it was very good. The beach is beautiful and the sea is calm, you don't feel like you're in the middle of sosua. Wifi in every area also. We didn't know that you have to check out of your room at 12noon but you actually have until 3pm to use the facilities. We would definitely come back."
