"We stayed for 5 nights and on our 3rd night the ceiling started dripping water in room 2631. Issue was brought to attention to staff and their solution was towels. Fixed the next day only for it to start dripping again until we left. The food is good. There is a lot of variety we just wish there was more Dominican typical foods offered. Entertainment and pool is great! Excursions offered were also great!! WiFi barely reached our room it was on and off. The nightclub could be fun but not many people attend. The staff’s attitude were not always too friendly, but based on the season and clientele attending the resort I could understand why. The staff is very hard working and I feel they are under appreciated. The bar staff are a 10/10 and friendly. The beach is pretty, clean but waves could be a bit rough. There are sellers on the beach so be ware of them they will ask you to buy. Overall good stay, I think the hotel could upgrade their rooms more it was a bit plain looking . They offer a nice private dinner on the beach for extra charge. Very great service! No issues with our AC and the hot water was good as long as you let it run 5 minutes before you shower. "

"The condo, the staff, cleanliness, beach area all excellent. There could be more kitchen supplies such as more pots and pans, cookie/pizza sheets, smaller bowls, etc. We also found the small propane stove top challenging for cooking as controlling the heat was difficult. More comfortable chairs such as relaxing lounge chairs on the patio would be beneficial. Overall a nice condo and with the above improvements it would be a 10 out of 10. "

"Horrible beds; rock hard. No hot water. System runs on solar power, no sun= no hot water. Several Long term travellers reported no hot water in weeks! Room full of mosquitoes upon check in. Asked for a different studio/kitchen room, lied about availability and offered a lower valued room instead for same higher price. Saw on internet studio/kitchen rooms were available. Decided to check out early, no refund of course, as the beds were so bad I suffered with very sore back. The only plus is the location to beach and restaurants. "

"We booked 4 nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday and had a great stay! Property is gorgeous, staff is super friendly and helpful, we did some tours and a visit to Grecialandia (a must do!) in puerto plata and it was an easy drive about 45/50 minutes. It’s great to have a resort feel that also feels like home. Having a full kitchen is a game changer and the apartment was much bigger than it appeared in the photos, which we appreciated. Will definitely be back! "

"The entrie from Vanessa, Melissa and Angela; in addition to the staff Francisco and Noel alsoJose were genuinely warm hostility that was so outstanding with just the environment..It make the stay tranquility at the supreme atmosphere.. And the room was clean and the pool with view of the beach,makes quietly same an ordinary words. I recommend and will continue to stay there.. 1 was there for 5 or 6 days.. Enjoy every moment. THANK YOU ALL STAFF AT ELMAGIFICO."

"The room was very nice and had everything we needed. Full size fridge, stove, utensils. It was very clean and comfortable. The wifi was great although it didn’t extend outside of our room. Ocean view was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful, not perfect English but definitely enough to get by. "

" Clean room. Requested early checkin and it was confirmed but the room wasn't ready. Not a big deal. We only had an hour to wait. Good food. Overall great experience. "
