"WE HAD A WONDERFUL STAY AT THE RIU PALACE PENINSULA. OUR ROOM COULD HAVE HAD A BIGGER TV. EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT OUR ROOM WAS GREAT. OUR BEACH FACED NORTH SO WE DIDN'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH SARGASSUM IN THE WATER. THE BEACH AND WATER WERE DELIGHTFUL. MANY POOLS TO SWIM IN AND SERVICE ON THE BEACH AND AT POOLS WAS EXCELLENT. "

"My wife and I were there for our 28th anniversary. Overall we an amazing time. The check-in process was slow as we arrived when many other guests did and only 2 attendees were working so this took a while. Once checked in we realized that the restaurants required reservations which are done through their app, however they were all full for the 4 nights we were there. The customer host Jessica was great and sat down with us and was able to book us 3 separate dinner reservations immediately. The buffet food was pretty good especially for breakfast but we really enjoyed the nicer restaurants for dinner and wine. One downside to this property was there was major construction going on right next door on a new resort. This was noisy at the pool and beach so we spent a lot of time at their sister property Royal Solaris just a short walk up the beach. They had a much larger beachfront property with more pools, beach chairs and umbrellas and we could still use our wristbands for food, drinks, towels etc. so it was like having 2 resorts in 1 which was very good to change things up. The staff and bartenders at both places were very friendly and worked hard to keep guests happy. We have stayed at many Cancun properties over the years and we would certainly come back to this one. "

"Property is beautiful, clean and great pools. Food was not the best with the exception of Pepe’s pizza which was great. Pool entertainment was very fun and engaging it was our favorite place to be. All staff on the property was kind and friendly. "

"We noticed they cleaned the beach area every morning to clear debris. We got the most beautiful pictures becauseof this. The surrounding hotels did not seem to clean as often. The concierge Junior was great at setting us up with travel and dinning needs. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Pablo Valencia and Alma G."

"We enjoyed every minute exploring the resort. The Skybar is a vibe for late night drinks, music not so good though. The restaurants were upscale and they treated us like we are appreciated. I'd recommend my friends. "
