"Gorgeous and spacious room. Very inviting onsen area, even in the pouring rain. Nice touch that outfits are provided to walk to the onsen, and it was a long distance from my room. Expensive but delicious meal at the French restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful but they need more than one coffee machine; there was always a line of people waiting. The hotel has beautiful grounds and landscaping, with great views of the lake, which I saw only through windows, sadly, as it never stopped raining during my whole visit. :-("

"I stayed for one night in June 2024. The food was phenomenal and the staff were extremely attentive and considerate. Thank you especially to Megumi who took such great care of me. Having a private onsen with a great view was quite an experience, it was absolutely amazing. They have a free shuttle service for pick up and drop off at Gora Station (and I think other areas close by) so just let them know you need it. This was certainly one of the highlights of my trip.
