"Clean room, in a quiet part of town, room functions as expected for a 2 star hotel! Friendly helpful staff. Everything was well thought out in the room, but the pillows could be thicker and the bed was just long enough for me at 5”7. I am picky with cleanliness and it was very good! Breakfast was limited but you were able to get 4 items from the menu for free, speedy service (I was there for 8:30) but it was full by 9 so better to go a little earlier if you can. Overall a pleasant stay that I appreciated, would stay again if in the area. "

"Loved the old style charming place. Very conveniently located, friendly and hospital. Very small and tight but met our needs. Once in tge room there are approximately 5 steps down to the room, I could missed that in the description but would stay here again. Excellent on site english breakfast. "

"If you were visiting your eccentric great aunt in Pemberton Gardens it would feel as cozy and comfortable as this place. Sure,there are fancier hotels just down the streer but the people who work here are lovely and kind and it just feels like home. Special mention to the considerate and competant front desk person who remembers me from last year and asks if i need to refridgerate my meds again without me saying a word.She remembered!! Unbelievable! Also,the location is great!! Close to Hyde Park, Notting Hill and Portobello Rd."

"We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was perfect for my family of five. Everything was very clean and in working order. The front desk staff was very quick when we checked in and we were in our room within minutes. "
