"The hotel is in an excellent location relative to two Tube stops, groceries, attractions, etc. I had a double room. It was small. Bathroom is very, very small. Sink blocks half of entry to shower. My arms hit the sides of shower if I slightly raised my elbows. It was impossible to bend over in the bathroom to dry my legs without opening the door. Bolt on main door did not work. Be aware there are several steps up into hotel and no one at entrance to assist. Gorgeous flowers in lobby, but I could smell the stargazer lilies from the street with the door closed (overpowering and be aware if you are sensitive). With one exception, staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and in generally good condition. This is based on the standard double I selected. For the cost, I would probably choose elsewhere next time."

"Great location in the old Notting Hill row house district. Safe neighborhood and plenty of pubs with the yellow line only a couple blocks away. That said, the rooms are in old Notting Hill row houses and they seem to have done the best they can with the resources available, but the price was fair and if all you need is a bed and bath, this was fine. Staff was great and we would stay there again."

"Wouldn't recommend. Arrived was greated with are you english? Have you got id? No hello welcome to our hotel. The room is not as pictured. The shower head leaked the smallest sink possible. Carpets stained furnishings damaged. Only saving grace was the bed was reasonable. Certainly not worth what I spent on the room."

"The apartment was clean and adequate for our stay. I didn’t feel the pictures entirely match up to what you actually get but the bed was comfy and the air conditioning very welcome in the summer heat, albeit all very basic. It wasn’t made clear on booking that you need some form of ID to check in, and it was only by pure luck that I had my driving license as otherwise I believe we would have been turned away."

"Room was well cleaned, Staff were friendly. Breakfast could do with more cooked items. Had a few little issues like noise nuissance, door card not working constantly & water top ups had to be requested, which were all eventually sorted to be fair. Excellent to visit London, not too busy. Everything within walking disctance."

"The hotel is fairly well located for bus & Tube travel. The room is nicely furnished with plenty of storage space and a good selection of complimentary items including bottled water, tea, coffee & biscuits. The bathroom is modern & well-appointed with a shower that's easy to use. Somewhere to place shampoo, soap, et cetera inside the shower would have been useful. The outlook from the window in this lower ground room was not great, but what you might expect from this type of property. The only negative aspect was the light shining in through the window during the night. The curtain wasn't up to the job. It was barely more than a net curtain & let through most of the light. However, other than that, I would have only positive comments to make about this hotel, and I would be more than happy to stay there in the future."

"I had a mixed experience during my three‑night stay. The room was very small and, unfortunately, had a terrible smell from the moment I walked in. I couldn’t figure out the source — maybe stagnant water from the air conditioning system — but the odor was so unpleasant that I had to keep the AC running constantly just to make the room bearable. On the positive side, the staff were very kind and the location is extremely convenient. Still, because of the persistent smell, I wouldn’t stay here again."
