"I recently had the opportunity to visit Sydney and Australia for the first time, and Meriton Suites was an excellent choice. Prior to my arrival, I researched various hotels online but was drawn to Meriton had to offer . Guillaume's warm greeting and efficient check-in process set the tone for my stay. The room was clean and spacious , exceeding my expectations. The hotel's location was ideal, and the staff were courteous and helpful. I'd particularly like to thank Rodney and Tom for their assistance and Yusuf for promptly addressing the window issue in my room. Given my positive experience, I would highly recommend Meriton Suites to anyone traveling to Sydney and appreciate the memorable experience it provided during my first trip to Australia. Thanks again Meriton!! I’ll definitely come back!"

"We arrived at our room (21613) to find the fridge was warm, and when we walked into the bathroom there was a very unpleasant odour. After spending about an hour with maintenance staff trying to resolve the issues, we were eventually moved to a new room. The new room was much better overall, however the bathroom extraction fan was not working either. My only other concern was the cleanliness around the toilet area — the tiles on either side of the toilet clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly, as there was visible urine residue left from previous guests. Breakfast at Eight Restaurant was also disappointing. My coffee order was forgotten, and after waiting around 40 minutes, I asked about it. I then watched the waiter flick back through several pages to find the order. Once it was finally made, it sat on the counter for several more minutes until I eventually went up and collected it myself. The staff were polite and did try to help, but overall there seemed to be a lack of attention to detail with both housekeeping and service, which made the stay less enjoyable than expected."

"Absolutely great location, 5 minutes' walk from the ferries and 5 or 10 minutes' walk to anything (restaurants, bars, tours) in Central Business District Auckland. Incredible breakfast surrounded by windows to enjoy sunrise and harbor. Excellent staff that help us deal with minor annoyance of neighboring room illegally smoking in room - special thanks to Manager Mr. Kim who fully engaged to correct the issue. Would recommend room on the non-ferry side (west side) as the ferries do blow their horns during daylight hours when arriving and if backing up to dock. If you want the view of the harbor, you can always visit the lounge area or dining facilities. If you defer housekeeping for a day or two, you will also receive a 10 NZD credit that's good at the bar or Hilton's dining. Staff was always top notch and helpful."

"We stayed here overnight before flying out the next morning. Sure, it's an older hotel but it's well-maintained, has large rooms, the beds were comfortable, casting onto the TV screen was easy, there was a restaurant onsite (not that we used it), lots of vending machines, free parking, the staff were helpful, near the airport and best of all, there was a shop freezer with ice cream products such as Magnums, Trumpets and so on. Would absolutely recommend this hotel."
