"Nice old hotel in beautiful grounds and parking for your car was very good, the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and efficient and the 3 course dinners were excellent. "Hotel in an ideal location for centre of town, close to railway station. Ideal to walk to parkrun in 30 mins. Dog friendly hotel. Some noise from city centre, but not too bad considering a Friday evening. Bathroom in need of an upgrade but was spotless and did not detract from pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Carpark monitored on cctv. I would recommend and definitely return"
