"Wonderful views and the feeling of being in The Lakes. Good spaces for walking the dog. Rooms are spacious and dog friendly with the inevitable trace of dog hairs on the divan bed. I stayed at this place on my way to Buttermere. It allowed an early start on quiet roads and was cheaper than staying in any of the towns en route. I did not eat in the hotel but the nearby services have hot breakfast rolls and good coffe. "
