This was a really great place to spend the night on my way home. The room and bathroom were lovely. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Dog friendly. Great location to get on and off the motorway. It was still quite quiet though.

Lovely old house with wonderful host

Lovely old house with beautiful garden. The host was very helpful and friendly. I stayed in a small single room that had it's own exclusive large bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with good choice, fresh fruit and range of eating times.

Easter weekend break

Amazing host who catered for my dietary needs without any fuss. Room was spotless with comfy beds. Breakfast was AMAZING, really set us up for a day on the fells. Our dog was fussed over by Pru and we were all made to feel very welcome. The perfect host and location for exploring the Eastern Fells and surrounding area.

We really enjoyed our stay and our room was lovely, with a lovely view. Our hostess was quick to greet us, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food was good & service was also good.
