"A beautiful, brand new self catering apartment. Was so clean and perfect we felt proud of it ourselves and wanted to ensure we kept it as lovely as it was when we arrived! Helpful instructions, friendly owners (brief interaction, very friendly but not overbearing in any way), amazing view. Definitely recommend."

"We stayed as a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children) over New Year. Cherry Tree Cottage was a lovely house in a great location and perfect for visiting North Yorkshire. The house was beautifully clean, all the rooms were good sizes and there was plenty of space for our family. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was also a nice luxury. The kitchen was the most equipped kitchen we’ve ever stayed in, with very high standard crockery, pots and pans. There is a pub (drinks only) and a cafe in Bellerby but we didn’t actually visit either so can’t comment on these, but Leyburn is just over a mile away and has everything you need. We also booked Elite Squad LaserTag which was brilliant and great value for money. I would recommend this property and hope to come back later in the year. Thank you for a great week!"

"The cottage was lovely and clean and had very easy parking. The location was perfect, close enough to town but outside of the centre. Easy access to lots of beautiful and interesting places, especially Aysgarth Falls and the Three Peaks. The shops in the centre are full of lovely supplies, and there are plenty of gorgeous places to eat or just sit. We are considering booking this cottage again for next year as we didn't have time to fit in all we would have liked to do. Well done. Excellent."

"Apparently the management had very recently taken over the tenancy which according to the manager was left in a dilapidated state. There were cheap air fresheners all over the establishment. We asked them to be removed, but the smell was impregnated and we had to have the windows open the whole time, which was not great as the heating did not work and a small fan heater was supplied and was totally inefficient. We were asked what time would we like breakfast and when we went down the place was in darkness. We and other guest waited almost an hour when we had to leave. I have never ever had this experience before. I had some health problems as did a collegue as we both had water from the tap. Which may not have been related to the Black Swan"

"Very good good location in local town local shops pubs allow dogs nothing to want for enclosed garden to rear, big rooms bed linen great, warm as you want it to be parking out front, kitchen ample size be aware no washing machine didn’t bother me! If book again I left comments in the book for owners"
