"Lovely room, with great views. Parked easily. Bar and lounge were a bit underwhelming and we didn’t stay downstairs. Breakfast was good. It was horrible weather when we arrived, it does need better lighting, you could barely see."

"Beautifully clean cottage in an idyllic setting. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived, which was very much appreciated for a chilly weekend, as were the fresh milk and delicious biscuits. Fantastic walks all over, every one of which our dogs loved.The cottage had everything we needed. A very well equiped kitchen, and we were happy to see for the first time in all our rentals, proper Gin glasses! Large, quality wine glasses too. In fact, the cottage was equipped with quality items...furniture, furnishings and utensils, crockery etc.The beds were very comfortable, with nice fluffy pillows.The log burner was very cosy on the chilly evenings, especially after a nice hot shower in the spacious cubicle, with a decent, powerful shower. Across the green are some great pubs serving a great range of beers and tasty food, and each one had a warm, friendly welcome. The quaint little post office and shop we found to be well equipped for anything we needed."

"We spent 4 nights in Deer Park Cottage. It was very spacious and beautifully appointed, full of character. Comfortable Beds and nice warm underfloor heating. The kitchen had everything we needed with plenty of extra storage. Situated in the National Park with wonderful views across Swaledale within a short walk of Reeth. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough with the option to rent the smaller adjoining cottage."
