"Attended wedding, the 'Chapel', reception room and reception all beautifully decorated. 3 course Meal for wedding reception was delicious, well presented & hot. Breakfast, cooked fresh was of a high standard. Staff very friendly & helpful, although not a lot of them, they seemed to be muti-tasking. Only complaint was the heating, far too warm in rooms, windows didn't open & no way to cool off. "

"This was pur first time at Swinton Park and we'll definitely be back. Our room was beautiful, the grounds are great with plenty of things to do and enjoy and the food was amazing. The best part of our stay had to be the spa though, really well-appointed with lots of attention to detail. We were both super relaxed and sleepy after just a couple of hours. "

"Had driven past this hotel many times, always thinking it looked nice, so eventually booked, and have to say it was a lovely experience from start to finish. Nice pleasant and attentive staff, the hotel itself is lovely inside, lots of charm and period features, really enjoyed the atmosphere and a great place to spend the evening. Our room wasn’t in the main part of the hotel, but in a row of cottages next to the main building, immaculate and very well presented, very spacious, we were really impressed. Our stay at the George was wonderful, very reasonable, would highly recommend."

"Stay was good. Room was ok, fan was VERY noisy in bathroom so had to switch off. No batteries in tv remote either. One bonus was there are Tesla superchargers at this site which for me was an added bonus."

"Beautiful parkland and excellent room and facilities - we enjoyed the spa and gym too. The gym was well supplied with machines and weights. All the staff were friendly and helpful and catered for a number of special requests. A shame we were there on a Monday night when the Orangery restaurant was not open as we would like to have tried it. Would definitely recommend."

"Stayed with friends for 1 night in a room with double sofa bed and separate double bedroom. We couldn’t fault the room or service at all. Staff were friendly and efficient and we felt really welcome. Dinner and breakfast were cooked perfectly and delicious. The setting is beautiful. Lots of opportunity for walks on the site or perfectly located to drive out and visit Yorkshire’s beautiful scenery. The leisure families were great too. Quiet, clean and relaxing. We will definitely return "
