"Very comfortable one night stay in a nice, clean hotel set in wonderful grounds. Staff were all professional and friendly. Food presentation and quality was excellent. Bar area cosy and relaxing. 3 star hotel with a 5 star service. Only negative for me is the bathroom in the larger executive room we stayed in was very tired and is in need of a revamp. Overall, the stay was very relaxing, with the hotel located in a nice country setting and staff were all welcoming."

Mercure York Fairfield Manor Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We have stayed here several times now, and would highly recommend it. It’s very near the park and ride so excellent access into York, the staff are very helpful and accommodating and the breakfast is one of the best at any hotel I have stayed in (Great coffee too) The rooms are a good size and clean, beds comfy and we are always sad to leave. My only suggestion would be to please ask if they could extend the breakfast until 10am on a weekday, but this is only because I am not an early bird!"
