"It was my first time in Cancun and this all inclusive hotel did not disappoint! Love everything about this hotel, the food were excellent, the staff were so friendly. We couldn’t ask for more. The hotel was so clean and well maintained. Appreciated all the activities as well. We also love the beach club! Very aesthetically pleasing and the service was 10/10! This hotel is definitely a lot laid back though. So perfect for adults who wants to relax. A huge shout out to Senior Raul from the Mediterranean restaurant who always made us feel taken cared of and welcome! This man deserves a raise. The only down side is they don’t have a shuttle to the main gate, which is about 20 minutes walk. You’ll have to pay for your own ride if you wanted to get to the main gates. Providing a shuttle to the gates and not only to the beach club would be amazing! I also upgraded for Vantage Club for one night but honestly, could do without it. Our breakfast at the vantage club took so long. We waited for 45 minutes to be seated, and another 40 minutes to our orders. The restaurant was not full at all. This is the only restaurant that we weren’t a big fan of. Sad cause it was part of their vantage club. Food was mid, the galleria (buffet) had better food. I suggest that they elevate this Vantage Club better."

"Solo travelled to Mexico Cancun. Had the most lovely and relaxing vacation staying at hotel Riu Kukulkán. Everything was well organized from flight to airport transfer to the resort and vice versa when my stay ended. Food was great especially their buffet. There was always a table available for you to be seated no matter how late you came down. Felt safe and would absolutely stay at this resort again."

"Although the hotel and staff were great. The food was not. It lacked variety compared to other hotels in the area. The buffet had the exact same food everyday for lunch and dinner. We stayed 4 night and only received 2 dinners at the specialty restaurants. Although the Mexican dinner was the best the Italian restaurant was the worst. We’ve been to Cancun many times and have stayed in a range of hotels in the area and this is the first hotel that disappoints us with the food and menu. As frequent travels and with kids the quality of the food is huge things for us. Overall, the hotel itself was great but they have room for improvement with their menus."

"Went for 4 night with my family and got the all inclusive and it was great. Rooms were clean property as well. The staff was amazing as well. Food was good as well. I would definitely go back."

"The property itself is quite large and exceptionally clean, offering a wide variety of activities for guests to enjoy throughout their stay. Upon arrival, guests are warmly greeted by staff; however, the check-in process lacked organization and efficiency. Prior to my arrival, I communicated multiple times with staff regarding my need for a room with two beds. Unfortunately, only rooms with king beds were initially available. While the staff ultimately accommodated my request, it took approximately three hours to resolve, which was inconvenient after traveling. Additionally, guests are frequently approached with promotional offers for spa packages, laser tag, and other activities that require attending a presentation or touring another resort. While these offers may appeal to some, I found them intrusive. When on vacation, I prefer the freedom to relax and make additional purchases at my own discretion, without feeling obligated to commit time to promotional tours. Overall, while the property has many positive attributes, improvements in the check-in process and a less aggressive approach to promotional offers would greatly enhance the guest experience."

"The staff are wonderful, the resort is very clean, food at the restaurants is particularly good, and there are lots of things for the kids to do. This would have been 5 stars except we really disliked being sold-to during our vacation. They offered us a room upgrade if we agreed to a 90 minute presentation. This turned into a nearly 3 hour sales pitch for Palace Membership where they tried to get us to buy a $55,000 time share. Also, the resort credits are nearly worthless; there are strict limits on what you can use them for and how much you can use on any given stay. They even tried to sell us a $300 “coupon” for our next stay at checkout. It’s a shame that the company’s policies are so scammy because the actual staff (even the sales people) are quite lovely. "
