"Great hotel with western features. Big for Japan."
Easy walk to everything in ginza, and tsukiji. The room and amenities you get for the price they offer makes it a great value. Staff was fantastic, they held our bags for a week while we took a train to Kyoto. Ginza has a pricey rep and finding a cheapish quality meal takes some research. Tsukiji is good for that. Cheap street food during the day, or eat a big lunch at a discount price and then snack for dinner. Look into Tokyo Shuttle bus service when it's time to get to and from narita. They will stop at yurakucho station, a short 10 minute walk to/from the Monterey. And go to Fuunji in shinjuku for ramen. 1000yen at Fuunji will get you the best ramen in all of Tokyo. You stand in line, but I promise it's worth it. Went twice in a week.

"Great day in Ginza"
Stayed Aug 24 2016 for 4 nights for 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and under). We had 2 rooms which weren't huge by Western standards but very well appointed and modern. Bathroom was beautiful with soaker tub and rainfall shower. Paid for breakfast inclusion which was at the adjoining The Kitchen restaurant owned by a TV celeb Japanese Italian chef ... Quite good. Location is great - close to several metro and train stations and Ginza's famous shopping strip. Would recommend this hotel... loved it!!

"Dont arrive early "
Whilst Location , service , rooms and overall experience good ... When we arrived at 7.30am and enquired if we could get an early room we were told that check in was 2pm and that if we paid 6000 yen more we could check in at 12pm (i did not pay) . To My dismay i noticed that between 12 - 2pm other people checked in but we had to wait till the 1.45pm . I believe that was Poor customer service

"Near Ginza"
Location is very convenient to Ginza. Walking distant to train line and subway Asakusa line right in front of the hotel. The hotel room as usual Japanese Standard, small and super compact. But affordable, clean and all amenities are provided. Staff willing to help and keep our luggage for a few days before we check back to the hotel 2 days later.

"Nice hotel in the Ginza district"
We were in Tokyo for two nights to take in the city sights. Our check-in at the reception desk was very smooth. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delightful in the great variety of choices available, both Japanese and Western fare being on offer. The hotel's location was convenient, being in the heart of the Ginza district, and close to the subway. On our departure, we wanted to book a shuttle bus to the Airport, and the reception desk very kindly helped us to navigate the Japanese web site and to make the necessary reservations.

"very nice modern sleek boutique hotel"
this hotel is located right next to the train stops and is extremely close to all the ginza shopping areas only a couple quick blocks away. the actual hotel is quite quiet..super clean and actually spacious for Tokyo standards.. especially the double we got. the breakfast was healthy and tasty. highly recommend you get the breakfast option, and it's also convenient without having to run around and find food you can't read Japanese. the front desk staff was very kind but could not seem to get anything done for me when I asked. making reservations seemed like it was too early or not possible.. the directions to places was helpful.. couldn't help me with train tickets etc.. that was my only complaint really.

"Close to Ginza shopping, transportation"
Accidentally booked a smoking room. The staff were pleasant, but let us know there were no available non-smoking rooms (holiday weekend), and said that they would do their best to air-clean the room we were staying in. We checked later in the day and asked again if there was any way we could move to a clean air room. They found a room for the second day of our stay for an additional charge, which was worth it. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for a couple days.

Pocket Guide: Tokyo Ginza 3 stars Hotels

High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
