"Overall I had no major concerns. However, I found communication took some effort on both staff and my part. "What is so unique about this property is the fact that it is very clean and upscale. What I don’t like about the property is the front desk staff. They seem always overworked and stressed. This percolates to the guests when they are greeted. The front desk seem rude although they may not be but they are always overworked and rushed. They speak English but you can’t understand them because of their accent. "

4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (522)
"Check-in was difficult. Check in is at a machine that wants Japanese characters and kept changing back to them. Took a long time and staff didn't speak much English. Nice view from room. Uncomfortable pillows, half filled with buckwheat hulls. Woke up with a stiff neck every morning. Breakfast is a fixed menu. No fish and rice, no pickled veg, no eggs and avocado. But curry, quiche and ratatouille on offer. That said, the pancakes and fruit were very good. Constant queue for washing...
