Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo - Tokyo Hotels

Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo

"First Class Stay"
First Class Hotel. I stayed in a very large room (super large bed). Which for this 6'4 man visiting Tokyo is a huge plus. Staff was great and helpful. The location is pretty good. Around a 10 minute walk to the main train hub. The surrounding shops and restaurants are good (don't order room service, go out and eat).

Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba - Tokyo Hotels

Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba

2-6-1 Daiba, Tokyo - Map
Spacious rooms. Staff very helpful and polite. Location though far from the main city, is still accessible as Daiba Station is located just next to hotel. 5 mins walk to Divercity Mall which has a foodcourt, drugstore and mini supermarket. Area is a quiet respite from the too busy Shinjuku area which I have stayed before

Shinagawa Prince Hotel

"Nice hotel right across Shinagawa Station"
We had no problem locating and checking into the hotel eventhough it was the first time we arrived Tokyo around midnight. The front counter staff was friendly and helpful with his smattering of English. Fortunately around the corner on the righthand side of the hotel was a sole ramen restaurant still opened for business at this hour (midnight) to quell our hunger. Both the rooms and ramen were excellent!

RIHGA Royal Hotel Tokyo - Tokyo Hotels

RIHGA Royal Hotel Tokyo

1-104-19 Totsuka-machi, Tokyo - Map
"I think we got the smallest room available"
Hotel overall is quite nice and comfortable with a free shuttle bus to the nearest JR station Takadanobaba on JR Yamamoto line (5-10 minutes). Also walked to Waseda station (10 min) on Tozai metro line, so relatively convenient location overall if you are intending to stay in the Shinjuku or Shibuya areas. Our room had a nice view of the garden and was very clean and comfortable, however I think we were given the smallest room in the corner of the hotel. Also, the free wifi was very spotty, perhaps because we were in the corner room. We tried the breakfast and although the selection was small it was very good. Overall a nice and comfortable hotel.
