"A compact room with wonderful views overlooking the harbor. Staff was polite and respectful. It was very quiet. I wouldn’t say that the location was convenient but it was pretty. We stayed here before a cruise and don’t regret it. The bed was comfortable and the included gin was a big hit with my partner. "

"Loved the walks from the hotel , we took our grandsons and they really enjoyed running around the woods and seeing the animals grazing nearby. Our room was amazing , a family room with a separate double room , lounge area and a small annex with twin beds . Very friendly staff who made our stay very comfortable and the food was wonderful, a brilliant couple of days . "

The young female receptionist provided excellent service and, following a pleasant conversation, kindly assisted me with my luggage to my room. Additionally, the young waitress in the dining room was highly personable and wore a welcoming smile. I found no shortcomings with this hotel and will certainly patronize it again in the future."

"It was great. Particularly good having three restaurants. But I can be very picky. All about the breakfast. The coffee wasn't great. The bacon was underdone - it doesn't need to be really crispy but it does need a bit of brown to develop the flavour. The marmalade wasn't that good either. One other thing, which I suspect may be common to all hotels these days. They wouldn't give me a paracetomol when I really needed one. Probably something to do with health and safety. But really?"
