"Lovely and quiet "

"Lovely room. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Downsides were the toilet in the room is separate to bathroom and quite claustrophobic. There’s not much room. And secondly there’s no flexibility regarding using the swimming pool which is why I booked the hotel. Most hotels if they have restrictions on only so many allowed in the pool at one time, having a booking rota so you can pick a convenient time but there aren’t this flexible and you can only use it once checked in or before checking out. So we never got to use the pool at all. We had breakfast quite late so no time for using pool before checkout. They should have a better system "

"The hotel was at one of the cheapest price points within the city for a weekday evening but delivered a good quality spacious room with all the amenities needed. Impressed with the stay given the price, with good location for the city and also a good range of snacks/drinks available for purchase in the reception area"

"One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in, in Southampton. Very smart comfortable room, bed and bathroom. If I had to fault it at all, it would be the 6 capacity lifts that quite often won’t take more than 3 reasonable sized people. And one of those lifts not servicing the ground floor. "

"The bar staff need some serious training, terrible service on Saturday evening , staff looked like university students clueless and zero customer service The room was ok, lots of fluff and dust under the bed, no I didn't deliberately check, I dropped something and saw it, the shower cubicle needs a good scrub too! And no fridge in the room!"
