"Lovely, homely hotel just outside the town centre. Easy parking, lovely room and comfortable king bed. We booked the room with breakfast which was good value. Our room was on the second floor, which I didn’t see in the room description. The stairs are quite narrow on the tread, and steep, so if this is an issue check room location before confirming. Otherwise, an excellent place for a New Forest stay."

"Great location, staff were friendly. Room wasn’t cleaned very well so we came back to dirty cups, wet and stained surfaces and only a partially made bed after our day out. Generally the rooms were nice but no soundproofing, you can hear talking from rooms above and extractor fan going on etc"
