"Such a cool place to stay with history tied to the Titanic. It was close to the port that our cruise left from. The pub below and the surrounding restaurants were all great as well! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. "

"Interesting older hotel. Fire doors every 4-5 rooms. Lots of stairs. There is an old rickety elevator if you are on floor 2 or higher. Bed is a ok, but could use a cushioned mattress pad. Ok for an overnight stay before a cruise, but I wouldn't want to stay longer than that! There are a lot of restaurants and eateries close by."
"Nice place, but no lifts. For older people, it can be very difficult to carry luggage upstairs. They will store it for you if you don’t really have to have it during your stay. Tubs are a little difficult for those with mobility issues. Otherwise, a nice place."
"All 14 rooms at Hunters Lodge were occupied even so the owner - Roddy made time for us.
The room was exceptionally clean (credit to the cleaner) the bed was very comfortable and there was lashings of hot water for the shower and from the taps in the sink.
The car park was safe and secure.
We had room number 16 which was lovely with an off-shoot bedroom and separate sink.
All in all we enjoyed our one nights stay here and would book again.
Good value for money.
Roddy was very accommodating allowing us to leave our car in the car park for a couple of hours before our ferry over to The Isle of White.
Very happy guests!"
