That said, the hotel itself was located in a lovely area and very convenient to public transport, good eating and some lovely parks Two drawbacks of the hotel were the extremely long wait for check in and the fact that they chose one of the busiest weekends in London in the sporting calendar to repaint two of their lifts - considering that each bank of elevators had only 4 (very small)...

"It was perfect for a one-night stay. Very clean, with everything we needed. My only complaint is that the duvet was way too heavy and warm for May. We ended up removing it from the cover, and just using that as a sheet."

"This is a very nice hotel, great location! Short walk to the underground and numerous bus stops. The British Museum is a short walk. There is a really nice park across the street with a small cafe. So close to everything, a number of pubs (Friend at Hand, The Swan) both good. It is also within a 10 minute walk to a grocery store for those staying a little bit longer then a just week like we did. Even the train stations are a 15-20 minute walk.
