Recently stayed at Regina Madrid. All I can say is wow. Coming off of a missed flight and a 3 hour line to schedule an unplanned overnight in Madrid, we were coming into town wrecked. Our cab driver recommended Regina and just by the lobby vibe we were already so pleased with the recommendation. Javier at the front desk saw us first, and after hearing what we had been through took action, upgraded our room to top floor accommodation with balcony, got us directions for an amazing dinner, situated us quickly at the bar adjacent to the check in for a drink while we waited for the arrangements to be made, and gave us some of the best customer service I have ever received. Anywhere. This man deserves such special recognition, he literally righted the ship made the trip for us in 30 seconds flat. The hotel is impeccable, and free breakfast is amazing, the rooms are very clean with American outlets and English on all appliances which is a bonus, in addition to all of the finer crafting of European design throughout. Slept like a baby on a great mattress, shower was high design and very luxury, washed the airport away quickly. Located on a high street right in front of the Hermès shop and the Four Seasons which gives you one of the best views of the city and a quick walk to amazing sights and food. The standards in this hotel are impeccable, and even the ride to the airport was available three minutes after we ordered it. Major power move staying at this hotel.
