"This is a very new hotel in the SkyCity complex. It's connected by a skybridge to the main SkyCity, so that can be a bit confusing until you figure out the separate entrances. Our room did not have much of a view, but it was very spacious and comfortable (new carpet, comfortable bed, etc.). We had the breakfast buffet on the last day and it was excellent. This hotel is also very convenient to the bus lines and to taxis, as well as being very walkable to the harbor area, Auckland Art Gallery, many cafes, shopping, etc. It's literally in the middle of central Auckland. And you can't get lost--just walk toward the SkyTower!"

"The room we were given was spacious, super comfortable and had an amazing view of the city. The staff was very warm and welcoming which we appreciated after our long journey. The ongoing care and attention to detail in servicing the room each day was also appreciated- we aren’t used to that kind of service anymore in the states. Couldn’t have asked for more! "

"The Concierge services are amazing and Gustavo is just exceptional! The staff is lovely. The improvement would be for international travelers to get early check in at 8 am after a 15 hr plus flight and have late check out for 5 pm to early the last day before going to the airport at 6 pm for a night flight back to another continent. we would wish all hotels to adopt theses standards of services-like the ole’days of traveling. Hilton Auckland was so much better than Doubletree -Christchurch! "

We arrived very early in the morning and the staff brought our suitcases to a secure room till our room was ready. The room was available earlier than announced. We also had dinner in the hotwl restaurant and it was very good."
