"When we arrived the hotel was clean and staff very helpful. Room was clean and the views were great. We were able to watch the Luau from our balcony which was a plus! The restaurant was OK, nothing special. Service was great and staff were courteous, but the food was below our expectation. All in All our stay was good."

Waikiki Resort Hotel

8/10 Good
"This is a small hotel owned by SONO, not a well known resort. We stayed here a week because my husband had work and this was one of the government rate approved hotels. I would not refer to this property as a resort, only because it does not have the same amenities expected at Waikiki resorts. We had an issue with our initial room, the hotel front desk resolved the issue quickly. PROS >Smaller hotel >Near to beach- approximately 2 blocks >Close to many eating establishments >Friendly staff- beginning with front desk all the way to cleaning staff >On site breakfast options >Bar for evening music and cocktails >Clean >Quiet >Mostly adult patrons >Rooms have fridge, wet bar, Kuerig coffee machine, water kettle, a few dishes & microwave >Air Conditioning >Rooms have balconies >Parking available for $45 per day which is LESS than most Waikiki properties CONS >Small pool (clean), no umbrellas, no poolside service. (Allowed me to doordash food to pool area) >Rooms are a bit dated, could use some freshening up (paint, furnishings are not modern) >Beach towels available, guests must retrieve and return them from basement/garage >Small car garage"

"The property was clean and had everything we needed for our last minute change of plans! Was close to other things making getting around easy without a car. The only pitfalls were housekeeping skipped us a couple of times which is no big deal but when we really needed it just happened to be on days we needed it. The TV was hard to navigate and the balcony doors we couldn't close properly due to the doors or tracks being out of wack. Otherwise it was great watching the fireworks from our room on our first night."
