Covid stay experience
To get your room clean, need to stay 6 nights or more and cleaning schedule on the 4th day. Asking before that comes with a fee. Took awhile to get towels and soap if you need more.
Did not do room service. Didn’t want to spend our time on the island in a room. However had food at the pool and it was good. Average price for food compare to other places along tourist area.
Convenient location of hotel to the beach. Walk across the street. Not too crowded like the main area of Waikiki beach and you can walk down the street if you want to be in the scene. 5-7 mins walk. I like to leave my sliding doors open at night for the ocean breeze/sound to sleep and it was nice to not hear cars/people and music.
Love the access to a Japanese influence restaurant and connected to a ABC store next to main elevator of the lobby. Convenient to grab things go up. They do have a limit of 4 per elevator ride.
Hotel is clean. Love the lobby (inside and outside). Up to date. Beautiful fish tank inside area. Not all shops were open and spa was closed. Gym is open and plenty of cleaning supplies, signage for distance and space. There is a shower/bathroom for the gym with lockers.
Roof too bar was nice. Mostly shade in morning to afternoon. Sun after 2 but still nice. So we went to the beach in the morning and roof top late afternoon to relax and order drinks/food. Towels provided. It can get crowded but there is space and lounge chairs set up
