The home that has everything.....and accepts a dog!
This large property is home away from home, with a well stocked kitchen, a very full linen cupboard and bathrooms with all the lotions and potions you may need. Added to this a fully fenced section for the dog and log fire and this place was perfect. Highly recommended, for the location (a very short walk to the beach) and a wonderful host who was very responsive.

Great choice
Everything we expected. Clean, tidy and well set up with all the conveniences. Comfortable furniture and bedding. Anne Marie is well organised and communication was excellent. A great choice would recommend to anyone else.

Perfect family getaway
We loved the convenience and ease of the property, big enough for our group of 8 to stay comfortably. The kids loved the games and toys provided by the hosts and proximity to the beach.

Great spot
Most comfortable holiday beds I've ever slept in. Excellent for a holiday with our three dogs with secure fencing of all the lawn areas. Lovely welcome basket with yummy goodies. Bikes and boogie boards available to use. Fabulous upstairs teenage room with TV and sofa. Great location 5mins from the beach. Loved my early moaning dips. Thanks very much for your hospitality and excellent communication Anne Marie.

Fantastic Stay In Waikanae
Our Northland Golf team had a fantastic stay for a week - the house was perfect and Anne Marie our host was so great even making us a lasagna for our arrival. Beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. I can only highly recommend staying at Twin Palms. A big thank you!

Wonderful venue
We booked this accommodation for the weekend of our son's wedding. The location was ideal as it was only a 10 min drive to the wedding venue. It worked really well as a base for family from various parts of the country, either to stay, or to come and go during the weekend. The house was warm and comfortable, with many of the basic kitchen supplies provided, as well as books and games, and plenty of linen and towels. The house is very close to the beach, and it would have been a nice walk if the weather had been more settled. All in all, a great place to stay, and we would recommend it for other family groups.

Exceptional hostess!
Twin Palms is an excellent destination, just a block back from Waikanae Beach. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. Communication with Anne Marie was easy - she was very generous in supplying bread, juice & milk - and a beautiful bunch of fresh flowers greeted us on arrival. We will definitely book again if in the area!

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful time at Twin Palms. Annie Marie was friendly and great to communicate with. Lovely and clean accomodation. She provided thoughtful touches including our choice of bread and milk along with butter and juice and lovely flowers on the table. Wonderful to have baking staples in the pantry to access. Lovely spot to relax in with warm fire place and a quick walk to the beach we enjoyed daily. Perfect location to access cafes . We really enjoyed our stay here.

Luxurious Bach
A very luxurious and comfortable house to stay in with everything you need and more. Super clean, so many nice things provided. Cosy warm fire for winter and great outdoors for summer. Walk to the beach and great for our dog. Excellent communication with Anne. Felt like we were in a hotel! Can’t wait to stay again

A lovely and spacious place to stay in a great setting.
Twin Palms is a spacious, well-appointed place with room for an extended family, with excellent indoor-outdoor living and space for the children to play. And it’s a short walk to the lovely beach, cafes etc. Our family used Twin Palms as our base during my son’s wedding, held nearby at Sudbury. We found the place suited our needs exactly. It was spacious, very well appointed and well-equipped, enabling us to host some of the other guests to a barbecue. I would recommend Twin Palms unreservedly.

Golf Girls Weekend
Twin Palms worked well for us 8 golf ladies. Plenty of room, comfy, clean linen, and a well equipped kitchen/breakfast. We ate local with Tuk Tuk Thai delivery and the Hey Coastie shuttle was perfect for a pick up and drop off later. Very nice dinner there. We had a fun weekend with perfect Waikanae weather. Anne Marie who we met was a friendly accommodating hostess.

Great location and most things as advertised, I will just say that while the front yard is fully fenced, the backyard (the yard that actually connects to the main house living room and patio) is not actually fully fenced - there is a big gap where there is just some stones then a drop down to the outside. This would probably stop a small dog but it wasn't secure enough for our large dog. Every other aspect of the stay was great.

Place was clean. Deck outside was nice . Room upstairs was good for our extra person to have space away from us. Wasn't all fenced .the fence the property did have didn't keep our small dog in so had to constantly watch our dog who did escape a few times. Aircon or a screens on doors would have been nice as had to shut everything up to keep mozzie out in evening so made it hot.

Awesome location, beautifully maintained property with wonderful outdoor entertainment. Log fire worked quickly and efficiently to warm the home. Property was clean and easy to access. Wonderful place to stay for a few days and my German Shepherd appreciated a welcoming home! Host was easily contacted and quickly responded to all queries. Great escape
Great place to escape for the weekend to recharge the batteries which is what we did. Anne-Marie was very easy to organise things with and made our stay welcoming. Even our small dogs were welcomed and they loved being so close to the beach to run and explore on. Thank you for your hospitality.

Such a great spot for adults with large group of young teenagers. Close to beach, private and spacious. Good bbq and covered outside area. Cosy fireplace too. Everything was great.

Great house for a family get together
Great house for family and very well set up and well stocked with plenty of kitchen items right through to bikes for a ride around the block. It did say was accessible but we had a few challenges managing with a wheelchair however access across covered deck between bedroom and lounge was fantastic. Would absolutely stay again.

Great despite the weather
Our whole family, ten adults, three little children and a dog had our family weekend away together here - as it turned out during Cyclone Dovi. There was enough space for us all to hang inside and the puzzles, games and toys at the house kept all ages entertained. Recommend it for any size group in any weather!

Awesome spacious Bach with everything!
We were a big group celebrating a birthday over the long weekend. Great beds, very well equipped kitchen (including cake tins!), lovely garden with fabulous deck - dogs enjoyed coming with us. Kids rumpus/sleep area was excellent for tweens/teens. Borrowed the bikes and went on good walks from the bach. Beach less than five mins walk away. Highly recommended!

Wonderful family breakaway spot
What a lovely, comfortable, clean and tidy home - with a deck that is perfect for meals with family and friends. Loads of room for us all to relax and enjoy each other’s company. An added bonus that we could have our dogs with us and that we were a stones throw away from the beautiful beach. Anne Marie, you made check in super easy, we had everything we needed and more. Thoroughly recommend!!
