Hyatt Regency Vancouver

Hyatt Regency Vancouver

8/10 Good
"This hotel was nice. The Hyatt Regency has a perfect central location, has a very modern main lobby, gym and pool. The room was very clean and very spacious which was perfect for a family of four sharing one room. The beds are really small but they were comfortable. The rooms are quite noisy and we did get woken up by the family in the room next door on several occasions which was disappointing but not the hotels fault and because our room had a balcony which was lovely to look out at the town but despite the doors being closed we could still hear the noise from the local area and being near an emergency unit we did hear the emergency services a lot. The hotel is located next to a McDonalds and Tim Hortons which was great for late night snacks and early morning breakfast, the only downside is there is a lot of people living on the street outside the hotel and Tim Hortons who approached for money on many occasions which was unsettling for our children. The hotel does have a Starbucks in the main lobby but the line is always very long so we opted to go to Tim Hortons next door each day. The drop off and pick up area for cars, taxi's and Ubers outside the hotel was great and made getting around the city easier. Overall this is a nice hotel and great access to the city and very close to the port"
