"This hotel was incredibly convenient to the cruise terminal. The staff were all fantastic, and beyond helpful. The hotel is close to many food options, and easily walkable to surrounding shopping/dining options. The only negative (and a fairly minor one) was that for several hours while we were there, two of the guest elevators were down. It was a very long wait to get on the elevator, and the stairs weren’t really an option for us. This inconvenience only lasted about 5 hours, and by the early afternoon it wasn’t a problem any more. The hotel has a beautiful pool deck, with a heated pool and hot tub. "
"The Executive Hotel Le Soleil was just what I wanted in a weeklong hotel stay. I traveled with my husband and teenaged son to Vancouver from 6/16-6/22/25. I found the service to be outstanding, from the concierge, to the valet staff, to the front desk staff, to the breakfast servers. Some travelers have noted that the accommodations are a bit dated. While I won't dispute that, I thought this hotel had all the right things right, features which made me SUPER happy I chose this hotel: The bed was super comfortable, the room was spacious, the amenities were top-notch, and the room was QUIET--something hard to find in a big city. Everyone greeted us, chatted us up, recommended things to do, and helped out with whatever we needed in a timely manner. The French-inspired breakfasts had plenty of variety for a lengthy stay and were executed perfectly every time. Perhaps best of all, the hotel was perfectly situated in walking distance of everything we needed: the Sea Bus, the Sky Train, Robson street shopping, Gas Town eateries and exhibits, and busses to other areas like Kits Beach, Granville Island, and more. I absolutely plan to stay at this hotel again when I return to Vancouver. "
