"I stayed here for over a week in late October. The room was more beautiful and impressive in person than in the photos! The balcony was such a treat! The staff were all kind and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet part of town, about a 10-minute walk to the city center. I never heard a peep or any noise from other rooms or outside. The bath towels are oversized, which is such a dream for a larger person! The bed is my only complaint. It was a beautiful queen size bed but it was too firm for me. I would recommend this hotel!"

"I came for a week from the US to visit my daughter who's studying in Florence for a semester. Her study abroad advisor recommended the Social Hub. The location was great - walking distance to her school (SRISA), SMN train station, etc. The coffeemaker in the room was a big plus for me; the hot water pot was a nice bonus. We had the buffet breakfast once - delicious. Room was clean. Property was lovely and clean. Staff were courteous and helpful -- called a taxi for me back to the airport which arrived in minutes."

The staff, were all genuinely friendly, thoughtful and helpful. The breakfast buffet was perfect, and always plentiful. Endless cups of beverages. The bartenders, in the evening, were helpful to provide the relaxation that came in the favorite drink. The location of Hotel Orto Dell Medici is conveniently out of heavy tourist traffic but close to attractions: San Marcos Museum, The Accademia Gallery - home of the statue of David, and more."
