The stay was great - clean cabin, washing facility, dining and mini mart at the property. It is about 35 mins bus ride away from historic center but very affordable and great.

Superlatives abound for Florence’s Uffizi Gallery: the most famous, most extensive and, some say, most important gallery in the world.

Florence’s oldest bridge, the iconic Ponte Vecchio has seen four centuries of art, jewellers and beautiful sunsets.

One of the Renaissance’s greatest achievements, the immense dome of the "Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Flower" has become an iconic symbol of the city of Florence.

After visiting Piazza di Santa Maria Novella, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Florence. Stroll along the riverfront or experience the acclaimed art galleries in this vibrant area.

Home to the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore and the Baptistery of St John, this historic bustling square is a feast for the eyes that is not to be missed.

Palaces, cafés, incredible outdoor sculptures and the world-famous Uffizi gallery all have their place on one of Italy’s most important squares.

Beautiful city exceeded our expectations
Close to every thing
Recommend going on the Hop on Hop off bus that goes out to the hill town of Fiesole. Also a great way to get to Michelangelo lookout. We only had a day and a half - would have loved more time to explore in more detail.
We were 'stuck' in Florence for an extra 2 weeks after our return flights to Beijing were cancelled to the Corona virus. What an amazing and beautiful city to be stuck in. Lucky us!
florence is fantastic in every way. beautiful city, fascinating to explore with so much history and culture and incredible food!
