Beautiful stay just outside the main city centre. It was nice to be in a safe and quiet pocket of Florence but still be walkable to all the restaurants, bars and attractions. The staff was also very helpful and kind. Great rooftop terrace and bar as well. Highly recommend!

From the moment we stepped in the door we were greeted and made to feel so welcome! Hector was the absolute best! He was warm and funny and when he found out our daughter and boyfriend got engaged on our trip he busted out the champagne to celebrate!

My stay was very pleasant only issue was the air conditioning in the rooms dont work well especially for how hot it is in florence during the summer, other then that the hotel, room and staff is very excellent and the location is perfect the surrounding area is quiet and not noisey and your not too far from downtown florence

It did not appear to be a traditional hotel that I would be used to (it would be comparable to a B&B in the United States). There was no signage so it was hard to know where to go. The manager was never seen on the property, but very responsive. We needed the communication in order to even get into the building/check in. The hotel is located on one of the floors within said building. It appeared there were only four rooms within this hotel. It is advertised as free luggage storage however, our luggage was placed behind the receptionist counter with no receptionist just the cleaner who was watching it during the time of checkout to when we had left, which was about 3 to 4 hours. There was black mold on the ceiling of the shower and the shower did not drain well as you were standing in buildup of 2 to 3 inches of water at the base, the room itself was extremely clean and very spacious, especially for a room in the city; very walkable to shops and restaurants nearby. Would return to stay at this hotel but wish I had additional information on Expedia so I knew that there would not be an employee at the reception desk daily.

Fun time in Florence

Staff, Hotel, and location are amazing! Our room was spacious and very clean. Air conditioning worked fantastic and they were attentive to us going and coming to make sure we had a good day and a good nights rest.

Excellent location on the river, clean facility and responsive staff. I did not like having to ask housekeeping to clean the room (upon request). It is best to stay on the highest floor because you can certain hear guest walking if you are a light sleeper. Nonethless, this was my favorite hotel from my stay in Italy.

Bait and switch

Deceptive marketing. We booked a premium river view room shown on the hotels.com site. With a terrace. We got a tiny room with a terrace. Not at all what was pictured. The hotel staff said it was an issue. Otherwise great staff and location away from the touristy area but walking distance to everything. Right next to American consulate.

Clean, friendly staff and overall a very nice hotel next to the American consulate, BUT behind the wall of room 23 an elevator was fitted that was extremely noisy. Impossible to sleep in. Furthermore there is a construction site on the backside of the hotel also making a lot of noise. We complained, but nothing that the staff could do, because the hotel was fully booked.

Started off in a room with a tiny shower, smaller than a cruise shower. Spoke to the staff and upgrade to a different room which was amazing. The staff was very helpful and always happy to great you. The breakfast was a little expensive. I ordered the French toast that came with ham and cheese. What came out was a grilled cheese sandwich, lol??

Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous view of the river from the common terrace, breakfast room, and our room with a private terrace. All the staff were very helpful, professional, warm, and friendly. Quiet, soundproofed rooms so we slept great. Comfy beds, blackout curtains, and recently renovated rooms (we were in 21). The water briefly stopped a couple of times but it came back on quickly. The breakfast room is to die for with original frescoes in the ceiling and walls. A gem of a hotel and we would definitely stay again.
