I particularly love the authenticity of the building being hundreds of hundreds of years old and yet well cut, beautiful staff beautiful spa only lacking in the dining aspect but everything else was perfect. Highly recommend but recommend going out for dinner.

Overall the property was great for our needs. It was very convenient for us because it had parking on the premises. The staff was amazing and the king room was beautiful. The only drawback is that it was a bit of a walk from the city center.

I cannot give this property and its staff enough credit! From our our excellent check-in with Elisa to any issues we’d need in the evening with, Jacobo, all of our needs were met. The chic, yet comfortable interiors were a breath of fresh air. The property and our bedroom were impeccable! I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family and will absolutely stay here agin!

Beautiful hotel. Quiet. Room was extremely spacious, modern, comfortable and impeccably clean. Great espresso in the room! The staff was extremely courteous. The location was perfect. Quiet area, yet walkable to all of Florence’s main attractions. 8 minute walk from the train station which was great for travelling, and most organized tours leave from around there. Would absolutely stay here again.

Elopement Stay

We had our elopement at this amazing hotel. Really lovely staff and concierge, made us feel like royals. The spa area is extraordinary and private. The suite is stunning with a jacuzzi and turkish steamroom. (Beautiful ceiling fresco in the bedroom). It's a neat boutique hotel with history back to 1860's. There's space for parking but it's not far from the centre, a short walking distance.

Gia was exceptional. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and went above and beyond for us. This boutique hotel is a must stay. The thoughtful architecture, atmosphere, and small details all stand out. The bedding was luxurious and comfortable and the shower and products were outstanding. A beautiful hotel that lacks an atmosphere. Lovely room but the linen needs a serious makeover; it was not a 5* linen!! The room needs a coffee machine as at £300 a night and being offered coffee in the morning, was not expecting a €30 bill for a simple drink!!! A rip off! And

The bathroom had a sewage smell which they tried to fix - with partial success. Breakfast was not good. Room temperature could not be set thru room thermostat - you need to call guest services and tell them the temperature you want & then they set it. Their concierge services seems to be third party - only reachable thru WA messages! They take little interest in really helping you - not surprising given the exchange is mandated thru WA. Overall very disappointing for a property that labels itself as a 5-star.

Pretty property but the location is very loud and inconveniently located. The staff was very kind and efficient but I arrived around 7:00pm at the end of a very long drive to find that the kitchen was closed and there were no reservations to be had nearby. Settled for a pizza from the closest place, an hour round trip when you added waiting for the pizza. I resigned myself to a long bath instead only to find that the jets did not function. Not exactly the 5 star experience I was anticipating on my last night in Italy.

The property is extremely well appointed from a design standpoint, but there is a serious lack of sufficient staffing to operate at the standards of a five star hotel. There is no one around in the evening except one person at the front desk who is trying to check in latecomers, order taxis, make dinner reservations and deliver room service. The bar was closed and there is no restaurant other than at breakfast. Room service is a bar type menu, I cannot quite fathom how you can design such a beautiful hotel and not staff it properly. Plus the parking is very tricky, and the streets surrounding the hotel are high traffic, busy streets with buses and trams. The neighborhood is not that far from the center but the walk is quite unattractive. It is, however, close to the train station, so that is a positive if you are arriving by train. I drove. I would consider staying again only when they finish the spa, restaurant and bar. In the meantime, one should prepare to seek out these facilities elsewhere. A positive recommendation goes to Klaudija and Matteo. They did their best to help me…
